DepreciMax is operated by Gage Street Ventures, a sole proprietorship. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use DepreciMax, how we use it, and what choices you have. We've written this in plain language — no legal jargon.

What information we collect

We collect only what's necessary to run the service:

• Email address — when you create an account or contact us. Used to send you sign-in links and occasional product updates.
• Property search queries — zip codes and addresses you search. Used to return results and improve our scoring model.
• Photos you upload — for property report analysis. Photos are processed by our AI model and not stored after your report is generated.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Usage data — pages visited, buttons clicked, search activity. Collected anonymously via PostHog to help us improve the product.

How we use your information

• To provide the DepreciMax service (searches, reports, account access)
• To send you sign-in links and account-related emails
• To process payments via Stripe
• To understand how the product is being used so we can improve it
• To respond to your support requests

We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services we use

• Supabase — stores your account email and membership status
• Stripe — processes payments securely
• PostHog — anonymous usage analytics
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis of property photos for reports
• Netlify — website hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We choose services with strong privacy practices.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, email us at help@deprecimax.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies — primarily for keeping you logged in (via Supabase) and for anonymous analytics (via PostHog). We don't use advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or opt out of analytics at any time by emailing help@deprecimax.com.

Children's privacy

DepreciMax is not directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
